Take A New Grip On Faith

“So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees. Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.”
Hebrews 12:12-13

Today, God is calling us to awaken from our slumberous state. If we are really going to run the race set before us, we must first get up and be ready for the challenge. Next, we need to ask God to strengthen us for the race ahead. In Isaiah 35:3-4, we are similarly exhorted to “Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, ‘Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you.’”

We need to take an honest inventory of our lives. Are we doing all we can to win souls for God? Are we leading godly lives as living testimonies for our friends, colleagues, and those around us? Are we ready and willing to participate in the next round of 幸福小组 (xing fu xiao zu) in June?

Do not let fear stop you. The Lord reminds all of us today to strengthen our weak knees for the long race ahead. No one should be left behind; we can all come out victorious in this battle. The harvest awaits. We just need to take a new grip on faith to start a 幸福小组 after the churchwide training in June. He has great plans for our lives. So, let us look forward to what God has in store for each of us!
