Objective
As expectant parents, we often focus on the pregnancy, the mother’s health, and getting the nursery ready. One of the most important things you can do, in preparation for the arrival of your baby is to develop some parenting skills and ideas on how you would like to bring up your child. This 24-hour infant management programme will go a long way towards equipping you in the first few months of your child’s life. The knowledge gained will give you confidence and a sense of direction as you study the topics and implement the strategies suggested.
Once baby reaches the 6th month-mark, baby is on the way to leaving infancy behind and heading straight for the toddler years. During this season, baby food is exchanged for table food; bottle for sippy cup; the highchair for a booster seat; feeding himself/herself with his/her fingers replaced by a spoon and fork; babbling talk to speaking, and the first unsteady steps are taken over by strides of confidence. This course will help prepare parents for this very confusing phase in their parenting journey.
