Dream Big Children’s Fiesta

DREAM BIG is a Children’s Fiesta co-organised by TOUCH Young Arrows (TYA) and FCBC, celebrating TYA’s 40th Anniversary and Children's Day. Held on the 3 and 4 October in Marine Parade, the Fiesta brings children and families together for a weekend of fun, discovery and connection, with carnival games, a bouncy castle, interactive experiences, storytelling by Gateway Arts, a robot dog and more.

Event Highlights

Activities without specific timings will be happening throughout the event.

  • Dreams Take Flight Interactive Zone: Write your dream and decorate a paper plane, scan it and watch your dream take flight across our giant digital sky!  
  • TYA Time Capsule: Step into TYA’s story, from its first flight to the dreams still waiting to take off.
  • Storytelling Sessions by Gateway Arts: Get swept up in stories about family, connection and big dreams, with plenty of playful moments for children and families to join in. Saturday sessions include a post-show activity by TOUCH Parenting.

  • The Dreamers’ Pavilion: Bounce, shoot and play your way through a lineup of bouncy castle, soccer darts, fast hands games and more! 
  • STEM Exploration: Hands-on activities to discover how science, technology, engineering and maths come to life!
    • Fun with RoboPaws by Science Centre: Step into the world of robotics and play with Singapore Science Centre’s very own robot dog. (1-2 min hands-on trying per person, within a 1-hour window)

    • Mini-Submarines by Science Centre: Learn about the principles applied in submarines to control movement underwater through a mini-model experience.
    • Makers’ Lab - 3D Printed Fidget Clicker Workshop: Try out 3D printing and create your very own customised fidget clicker. (1-hour workshop, up to 20 participants per workshop)

    • Makers’ Lab - Plastic Reimagined: Give used plastic bags a second life through heat fusing to create lifestyle items.
    • Makers’ Lab - My Eco Badge: Turn everyday scraps and old magazines into a badge that’s uniquely yours.
    • Makers’ Lab - AI Robot Dance: Dance in front of the robot and watch it mirror your moves.
  • DigitallyUs: Explore how our digital experiences can affect our minds and emotions, and discover simple ways to care for ourselves and others.

      MINDCove (ages 12 to 17): An immersive 1-hour learning experience for young persons to step into realistic online harm scenarios and explore how these situations can affect their emotions, decisions and behaviour. The activities will be experiential, making tackling these confronting topics more interactive.

      Connection Cove: Children, youth and their families can discover how to stay well online through fun and interactive activities
  • Yummy treats, balloon sculpting, photobooth and many more activities await!
