On June 2, 2012, a special lunch was organised for parents of children with special needs at Roland Restaurant.
This was the first time Mint Ministry organised such an event, in honour of the parents for their love and the sacrifices they have made for their special children. Parents of Mint members and other guests filled all twelve tables, with Mint volunteers serving as table hosts.
The guests had a blast playing ice-breakers and being entertainment by RECA ACT (Reaching Excellence through Circus Arts), a circus-performance group made up of youths with special needs. To end off the event, Pastor Chan Hon Shek shared a timely message on God’s love and hope for the future.
It was indeed a special day for special parents!
