“The Hidden Treasure” – a movie adapted from the life of Senior Pastor Lawrence Khong as both a pastor and a magician premiered on May 19, 2013, in Hong Kong to a crowd comprised of sponsors, industry partners and media.
Produced by Andrew Yuen (袁文辉) of The Media Evangelism (影音使团) and directed by Sam Leong (梁德森), the movie tells the heartwarming tale of a father’s love for his daughter.
Senior Pastor Lawrence and Nina, together with the cast, made up of established Hong Kong actor, Kwong Wa (江华), Mini Kung (龚慈欣), Jane Ng (黄明慧) and Desmond Pang (彭纪谚), were also present to greet the audience with a surprise magical illusion.
After months of filming in both Singapore and Hong Kong, it was time to harvest the results, and as soon as the credits rolled, the audience responded with resounding applause, acknowledging the effort and hard work of the cast and crew.
