Overview:

The Senior Marketing Coordinator is a highly motivated and creative individual who is passionate about the arts and plays a vital role in supporting the Sales & Marketing team in marketing and selling Gateway’s venues, programmes and activities; developing and implementing effective digital marketing campaigns for Gateway’s social media; and coordinating and organising Gateway’s activities and events.

The Senior Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Business Development Manager and Marcom Executive in developing and implementing effective marketing communications, advertising and promotions, and media relations for Gateway’s programmes and activities to increase brand awareness, attendance, and revenue.

The Senior Marketing Coordinator is also responsible for market research and surveys, database growth and management, social media campaign, marketing and communications materials, and marketing tie-ups to sell Gateway’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of Gateway’s products and services
  • Actively involved in sales and business development to identify potential opportunities and new markets to develop and implement effective marketing plans, activities, events, and advertising and promotions to reach out to new clients and audiences
  • Perform market research and competitor monitoring to keep up-to-date of market trends and understand the programmes and approaches of key competitors
  • Develop and conduct market research and surveys with hirers and patrons, prepare findings and analysis reports, and make recommendations for improvement of Gateway’s products and services
  • Assist the Marcom Executive in developing and implementing marketing communications strategies for Gateway’s venues, programmes, and activities
  • Assist the Marcom Executive in managing Gateway’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) including but not limited to planning and executing monthly content calendar and social media campaigns, tracking and reporting campaign analytics, and making recommendations for improvement of Gateway’s digital marketing
  • Write and deliver persuasive copy for Gateway’s website, social media, email marketing campaigns, sales and marketing collaterals, and marketing communications materials
  • Support the Sales & Marketing team in brand and event activation through marketing communications, media relations, advertising and promotions, direct marketing, and events management to increase brand awareness, generate publicity, and maximise attendance and revenue for Gateway’s venues, programmes, and activities
  • Responsible for growing and managing Gateway’s database
  • Responsible for the production of all marketing and communications, promotional, and publicity materials, such as advertisements, brochures, flyers, posters, banners, newsletters, EDMs, and e-banners
  • Coordinate and consolidate the marketing budget for Gateway’s programmes and collaborations
  • Identify, reach out, and foster good working relationships with special interest groups, clubs and associations, media owners, and other marketing partners to leverage opportunities to benefit Gateway in terms of goodwill, marketing channels, media rates, promotional opportunities, and more

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Mass Communications or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Marketing/Marketing Communications
  • Proven track record in marketing and communications of arts, cultural, or lifestyle products/services/events
  • Savvy in digital marketing with experience in content marketing (content creation and content distribution) and social media campaigns
  • Highly self-motivated and task/goal-driven
  • Creative and proactive with positive mindset and can-do attitude
  • Organised and meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Able to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes
  • Able to work efficiently and productively under tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management with strong ability to organise, prioritise, and manage multiple duties and assignments
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in spoken and written English with strong writing and proofreading skills
  • Good knowledge of Singapore’s arts scene will be an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop will be an advantage

Requirements

Education/Professional Qualification:

  • Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Navision experience is preferred
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player

Language Requirements:

  • English and Chinese (preferred)

Main Responsibilities

  • Attend to day-to-day operations and running of the building.
  • Assist Facilities Manager in scheduling, planning, organising and managing staff responsible for maintenance, repair and upkeep of buildings and facilities. Prioritise organisational needs, complaints and work orders. Coordinate with other departments to schedule time frame for completion and schedule work assignments.
  • Inspect building and other structures to determine functional systems, detect malfunctions and needed repairs, and make recommendations of rectification.
  • Assist Facilities Manager to conduct periodical reviews with team members to ensure timely follow-up of service requests, complaints and feedback.
  • Assist in managing contracts for maintenance services provided by external vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
  • Assist to develop policies and procedure manuals for building maintenance functions, grounds maintenance and custodial services.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Higher Nitec in Facilities Management/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Building Management, Building Maintenance or Facilities Management for a commercial building.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Possess good communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid Fire Safety Manager Certificate will be an advantage.
