Opportunity: Sow Far, Sow Good

Well, we’re past the first quarter of the year and I trust it’s been an exciting one for you so far. This week, I thought I’d bring us back to remember our theme for this season. As I shared at the start of the year, I believe the word the Lord has given to us as a church is “Opportunity”. We have been given divine opportunities to sow far and sow good. All we need to do is to see, seek, and seize these opportunities.

Earlier this week, we had the privilege of hosting Elim Chew for one of our Marketplace Ministry sessions. I wasn’t able to be personally there but I heard it was great. As I looked through the photos of the event, I realised she shared about opportunities. Was it a coincidence or was it divine? I choose to believe that God was reminding me of the word that He had given to all of us. And so, I want to speak this word over all of you once more.

Maybe you’ve been off to a rough start this year. Perhaps things are going fine and well. Whatever it is, I believe God is leading you to His opportunities for you. He is closing doors that ought to remain shut and opening doors that He wants to lead you through. You may not be able to see it now, but I know that you already are in God’s divine opportunity for you, whether you’re in smooth waters or rough seas right now. I pray that you will be strong and courageous to continue pressing on.

God doesn’t give us a way out. He gives us a way through.
