Missions Month

This May, we’re going to be launching our first-ever FCBC Missions Month. For four weeks, we’re going to focus on missions through our weekly sermons, and we’ve invited both local and international friends to come and impart their heart for missions to us.

Sometimes, we may not realise the importance of missions and how much it has impacted our lives. If we were to trace our ‘Singaporean Christian ancestry’, we would all be led to a missionary. During the early days of our colonisation, we saw colonists and missionaries preaching the gospel and sharing their faith. As a result, you and I are here today. Dare we imagine what our lives would be like today if those people hadn’t responded to the call to missions?

Well, FCBC wants to respond to this call. We believe that we will plant 144 churches by 2026. This isn’t a matter of promoting FCBC or craving glory. No, it is a matter of promoting the gospel and glorifying God all over the world. But for that to happen, you and I need to rise up to this call. As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Therefore, we must pray for the Lord of the harvest to send out more workers.” (Matthew 9:37-38)

Church, we are those workers. The call to missions is not a matter of if, but when. So, how will you respond to this call?
