Dear disciples in FCBC,
I know that many of you will be undergoing our 幸福小组 (xing fu xiao zu) training this weekend. I want to dedicate my thoughts this week to all of you who are reaching out with God’s love to your pre-believing family and friends – be it through 幸福小组 or Alpha Everywhere.
Senior Pastor Nina and I are praying for you and your “BEST” every day. We believe that God will use each and every one of you greatly to bring many more to the saving knowledge of Christ. It is our prayer that God will teach you to have faith, and believe that the Holy Spirit will move powerfully in your group through this season of outreach.
We also pray that the Lord will impart to all of you a genuine love for every pre-believer you come into contact with. So, you will not just see them as numbers in your ministry scorecard, but as precious ones who need to be born again in the family of God. Last but not least, we ask that God will bestow upon you a dogged tenacity to press on until you see breakthrough.
I want to leave you with this verse taken from 1 Corinthians 15:58. Keep this Scripture in your heart and mind as an encouragement and reassurance from the Lord when you face obstacles along this journey:
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that
your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
