Mint Social Outing on 26th March 2011

It was a great day out for 151 intellectually-disabled persons, their parents and volunteers two Saturdays ago.

The day started at 10am with a visit to Healthzone at Health Promotion Board building. The Mint members sat through a specially-arranged health and hygiene presentation for them, followed by a visit to the Healthzone exhibition hall where they had so much fun trying out the different interactive games.

Lunch was served at a coffee shop at Bukit Merah and thereafter, all the Mint members and volunteers were treated to a complimentary return cable car ride from HarbourFront to Mt Faber, by Jewel Box, Mt Faber.

Everyone had so much fun, including the 30 volunteers who had put aside a precious Saturday accompanying their special brothers and sisters on this outing.  Even the weather was fantastic throughout the day! God is indeed good and His favour is upon us.
