Media Ministry was founded in April 2000. Our mission is to raise the banner of Christian excellence and integrity in the media and entertainment scene.
We have seen how movies touch people's lives, and we want to continue to impact lives through stories that inspire and transform. Our role is to assist churches in using the media to bless the community by providing better alternatives of entertainment.
Why the Media? We live in a sight and sound generation that needs to hear, see and experience God's truth, love and saving grace through creative and exciting means they can relate to.
In the Bible, God also used dramatics to attract the attention of the masses. Jesus spoke through parables, stories that illustrated the truth, and God himself used the spectacular burning bush to speak to Moses.
The entertainment world around us today is not exactly edifying. We want to rebuild the walls of entertainment for God and provide a good, healthy, yet entertaining alternative. It is time to bring God back into the picture!
