Rev Ong Swee Geok is a Network Pastor. She holds a Certificate - in - Education from the Institute of Education Singapore and was a teacher in Methodist Girls School for 12 years. She served as an organist in FCBC before coming on staff as a pastor in Oct 1989. In the area of inner healing and deliverance through prayer, she feels her responsibility is to help the people embrace God as their source of strength for change. At the same time, she believes that healing must also take place in a community of loving people instead of being dependent on one person. As a pastor, her vision is to empower multitudes of ladies to fulfill God's commission ,"to preach the gospel to the poor; to heal the brokenhearted; to proclaim liberty to the captives; recovery of sight to the blind; to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." (Luke 4:18,19). After a hard day at work, she looks forward to coming home to her husband, Denis Lim and son, Elliot. |
