Rev Melvyn Mak is a Deputy Senior Pastor and Network Pastor. He started his career in the banking sector. Now as Deputy Senior Pastor, Melvyn sees his role as that of helping and supporting Apostle Lawrence Khong. He does this to help Pastor Khong fulfil God’s calling to a more international arena of ministry. Really treasuring his relationship with Linda, Melvyn’s passion is for the networks to reach out, in particular, to couples, families and marriages with a desire to help them find God’s purposes. He observes sadly, “Marriages are broken too easily and too often”. To this end, they have been involved with reaching out to the community with marriage preparation courses, marriage enrichment, and marriage encounter sessions. Melvyn and Linda have been married for more than 20 years now and are still clearly in love. They are also blessed with three lovely children - Janelle, Tiffany and Rosanne. |
