CHANGE & GROWTH

Dear family, let us push on and finish these 40 Days of Faith like champions! I remember God's promise to FCBC from Isaiah 54:3 - that we "will spread out to the right and to the left; [our] descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities" when we enlarge the place of our tent, stretch our tent curtains wide without holding back, lengthen our cords and strengthen our stakes.

We must look beyond our walls and beyond what we now have. Let us not just move the tent pegs a little bit farther and make room for only a few more people. We need to really stretch out - and when we "stretch out... and lengthen our cords..." the multitudes will come in!

As we enlarge our tent, we should also remember to "strengthen our stakes." It is not good to just expand wider. We must go deeper. There needs to be strength as well as growth. We must be diligent to strengthen our stakes. God's Word, prayer, fellowship, love and encouragement, personal integrity, morality and faith these are the tent pegs we must drive in deeper.
