1. What is the age group that I will be working with?
There are 3 age groups in GKidz: 18 months to 4 years old (David Club), 5 to 9 years old (Timothy Club) and 10 to 12 years old (Barnabas Club). Select an age group you are comfortable and enjoy working with.

2. What is my role?
Your role will be to lead and teach a small group of children, to share and pray with them, to be a friend and a role model for them.

3. What is my commitment like?
You will serve weekly on a 2 months rotation system, for a minimum period of one year.

4. Is training provided?
We have an induction and orientation program that will give you an overview of GKidz and basic ministry tips in working with children.

5. Is experience working with children required?
Not necessary, we believe that you will learn a lot on the job.

6. What is the GKidz program like?
GKidz runs concurrently with the various adult services and the programmes include ice-breakers, worship, storytelling and small group time.

7. How big is the group that I am taking?
We like to work on a ratio of one adult leader to five to eight children, depending on the age group.

8. Will there be any curriculum or teaching materials provided?
We will provide age-based curriculum quarterly and teaching outlines to guide you in your small group time.

9. Can I choose to serve in the time slot that I want?
You can choose to serve in the service or the center that is most convenient for you, subject to availability.

10. Can parents sign up for the recruitment?
Yes, we invite parents, and especially fathers, to serve. The children love to see godly male models.

11. Must I be a mature Christian in order to work with the children?
We will prefer that you be part of the cell community and have completed SOL 1.

12. Are there any other roles that I can play in GKidz?
We also need musicians, worship leaders and registration/logistic team to serve in GKidz. These roles have a different schedule and time commitment. Please call Lynne at 6424 9400 for more information.
