| When Rev (Dr) Nina first began to see the path that lay before her as a leader to the women’s network in the church and how God wants the women to take an even more significant role in the forefront of the church, she started feeling regret that she had not seen this G12 role God wanted her to play earlier. But when she discussed this with visiting Rev Rick Seaward, he corrected her gently – this was God’s timing for her “to take a back seat first and now to take a step forward”.
Everything she had gone through before was part of her training. Only then did this truth suddenly become clear and she now appreciates her past experiences in a new way. |

| THE EARLY YEARS |

| Nina came to know the Lord in her early teens when her friends brought her to Youth For Christ meetings. When Nina received her place in National Junior College, she met her future life partner, Lawrence Khong, who was assigned to help a schoolmate of Nina’s but instead Lawrence was confused and helped this new Christian get orientated in her new school. |
